We need healing in our world!
Body, mind and spirit healing.
So many ways to help heal.
What makes today a good day?
The healing balm (inspiration for your day)
I hope you can find ways
each day
through your caring and creativity
to uplift and help heal
one person, or many,
and help heal our world.
That is the healing balm I have found
to navigate through
(without drowning in it)
the seemingly unending pain around us.
I have found this help-heal
through preparing and sharing food,
through playing tennis,
through writing and sharing poems,
through family,
through community,
through activism,
through old and new friends,
through deep quiet and boisterous song,
through laughter and tears;
new creative opportunities each day.
To uplift and help heal
one person (or many) today:
makes today a good day.
