“You see art everywhere!” commented my WalkAshland website reader. I try, I thought to myself. Actually I do, I thought to myself.
As I walk the streets of Ashland I try to LOOK with open eyes, open mind, open heart. Often my Busy-ness smudges my glasses. Thoughts of yesterday, of tomorrow, of “what if?” cloud my vision. When I let go of this Busy-ness, I begin to SEE.
Open eyes – I see St. Francis peeking through front yard plants, and fairy villages alive with imagination.
Open mind – I see rocks and pebbles arranged just so, in artistic stillness or even in flow.
Open heart – I see stars and suns and stained glass inspiration, all sparkling with simple wonder.
